Printing Process and Paper: I print in the professional wedding photography lab in Toronto that manually adjusts color and density of each print. Our lab uses the same printing process and paper for both film and digital prints.
Black And White Prints: We use special digital procedures and filters to prepare color images for Black and White printing. Any color photo can be printed in black and white, sepia toned, etc. If the photo is proofed only in black and white it cannot be converted to color.
Printing From The Proofs: The image quality has been reduced for the web and does not reflect print quality. Even
if the proofs are acceptable on the screen, they will not print well. Screen resolution and print resolution are two very different things. The print made from a 45k jpeg proof really will not compare to the work of art that our lab creates from a 24 megabyte uncompressed TIFF file
Sending The Proofs By e-mail: You are very welcome to e-mail proofs to as many people as possible. The best way to share the proofs with your friends and family is to send them a link to the On-Line Gallery and give them your Event ID. An example of the invitation,
included in your e-mail, looks like this: "Please, go to: http://www.imagestoronto.com/client/index.htm and enter Event ID: .....".
